Adama Steel Factory, officially known as Adama Steel Ethiopia PLC, is a major steel manufacturer established in 2011, specializing in a broad range of construction and industrial steel products. The company began with the production of nails and basic sheet materials and has since expanded into carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and tool steel, serving diverse industrial and infrastructure needs across Ethiopia.

The factory offers an extensive product range including roofing materials such as corrugated iron sheets, EGA sheets, and tile profiles, along with reinforcement steel like rebar, wire rods, and various diameter wires. It also produces a wide selection of fasteners, including twisted nails, supporting both construction and manufacturing sectors with reliable and scalable supply. The facility is supported by a rolling mill with a production capacity of 180,000 tons per annum for rebar and wire rod.

Located in Adama town in the Oromia region, with its administrative office in the Bole Olympia area of Addis Ababa, the facility plays a significant role in the country’s industrial workforce, supporting around 9,000 employees with plans for further expansion.
